Legislative advocacy and working with national, state and local government agencies; providing statewide community outreach for organizations; providing information, support and referrals about historic preservation.
Presented annually since 1975. The popular program is considered prestigious as evidenced by numerous nominations submitted annually, and served the valuable purpose of encouraging preservation of Hawaii's significant historic sites.
Preservation Presentations and Preservation Forums
We partnered with the University of Hawaii at Manoa to continue the "Experts at the Palace" series.
Hawaii Preservation Services Fund Grant Program
We, in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation administer this program which awards incubator grants to preservation projects all over the state. Already, grants have been awarded to numerous organizations.
Heritage Education Video Curriculum
Professionally created three Generation after Generation videos, with accompanying teaching guides, which are now part of the DOE Hawaiian Studies curriculum and are used throughout the state.

HHF is well known for its exclusive and unique tours for HHF Members and guests.
