JOAN BENNET (O‘ahu)

Joan Bennet is President and CEO of the Bennet Group Strategic Communications, a full service public relations agency based in Honolulu.  Ms. Bennet has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic public relations, marketing and advertising counsel to a wide range of clients in the U.S. and Asia Pacific region. She specializes in strategic planning, corporate and executive positioning, crisis communications and grass-roots advocacy campaigns.  Ms. Bennet has won numerous communications awards for her work, including an Outstanding Women in Leadership award from the YWCA. She has lectured on communications and public relations at USC, UCLA, the University of Hawaii and the University of Sydney. She graduated with a BA in journalism and public relations from the University of Southern California
