Peter S. Ho (Oahu)
Peter S. Ho, vice chairman and chief banking officer for the Bank of Hawaii, oversees Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Investment Services. He is a member of the bank’s Managing Committee and its Board of Directors. Mr. Ho directs all revenue-generating banking functions. A native of Honolulu, Mr. Ho joined the bank in 1993, after beginning his banking career in New York. Subsequently, he managed several commercial banking units and in 2003 he assumed responsibility for the bank’s Hawaii Commercial Banking Group. In 2004 he assumed responsibility for the bank’s Investment Services Group, and later was named chief banking officer.
He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. degree in business and an MBA. While in school he was the 1992 First Interstate Bank Fellow.
His community activities are legion. He currently serves on the Boards of Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, the Hawaii Chapter of the American Red Cross, Hawaii Foodbank, Hawaii Dental Service, Special Olympics of Hawaii, Oceanic Institute and Hawaii Pacific University.
