LEA OK SOON HONG
Lea Hong, JD, has more than a decade of experience collaborating with local communities, landowners, and public agencies to protect Hawai‘i’s natural and cultural resources. She is the Hawaiian Islands Program Director for The Trust for Public Land. Until she joined TPL in 2006, she was a partner and chair of the Environmental and Cultural Resources Law Practice Group at Alston Hung Floyd & Ing. Prior to joining that firm, Ms. Hong worked with Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund. Originally from Wahiawa, Ms. Hong is a graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i (where she has co-taught classes on Environmental Litigation), Rice University in Houston, and Leilehua High School.
