Join Historic Hawaii Foundation and the Design Within Reach Studio for "Pau Hana with a Purpose" on Thursday, July 8, 6-8 p.m. at the Design Within Reach Studio at Ala Moana Center.

At this casual event, we'll tell you about the sites included on the list of Hawaii's Most Endangered Historic Sites, a list compiled by Historic Hawaii Foundation and published annually by Honolulu Magazine.

You'll also get a chance to meet the people and groups working to preserve four of the sites on the list:

Kalauha‘eha‘e Fishpond (Maunalua Fishpond Heritage Center)

Lapakahi (Trust for Public Land)

Queen Theater (Friends of Queen Theater)

Waikīkī War Memorial Natatorium (Friends of the Waikīkī War Memorial Natatorium)

Call for Nominations

Nominations to the 2010 Most Endangered Historic Sites list are being accepted through July 23. You can hear more about nominating a site at the event and get answers to your questions about the list.
