HISTORIC HAWAI‘I FOUNDATION
Built in 1925, this William D'Esmond Mediterranean-style building was financed by Maui County as the second part of Wailuku's Civic Center.
The building was left unoccupied after a larger county building was completed in 1970. In 1989, a major renovation created new interior spaces and upgraded its electrical and mechanical systems. Today, it serves as offices for the Maui County Planning Department and other county departments.
