Historic Hawai‘i Foundation annually names Hawaii’s most endangered historic places in cooperation with Honolulu Magazine and the Hawai‘i State Historic Preservation Division. The list includes buildings, objects, landscapes and communities. The list draws attention to contributors to Hawaii’s priceless heritage that are threatened by demolition, neglect, ignorance and apathy. While this designation does not protect or preserve the sites, it can raise awareness and motivate action. Nominations are sought for threatened historic resources across the state THAT ARE NOT ALREADY LISTED. (check the list here)
